Butter Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks/460 grams) butter
- 1/2 cup (100 grams) sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/3 cups (292 grams) all-purpose flour

Spices
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp allspice
Instructions
- Cream butter. Gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually blend in flour and spices.
- Fill cookie press with 1/3 of dough at a time; press shapes on a chilled cookie sheet.

Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top of these, the best way to do it was
just grabbing a pinch and (evenly) sprinkling on the top of the
cookies.
- Cinnamon sugar is a 1:4 ratio. 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup cinnamon
- Refreeze the prepared tray, shake off the extra cinnamon sugar, thaw out for 10 minutes or so before baking
- Bake at 350° for 12 minutes
Makes about 80 cookies
